MANAGER/SENIOR MANAGER (ACADEMIC ADMINISTRATION)

Salary: 0.00

Reporting to the Academic Registrar and Director of Student Administration, you will work alongside the Director and supervise a team to deliver the Division’s role in the areas of enrolment management, academic administration and exams processing, student records management, convocation, administration of scholarship & financial assistance, ensuring academic excellence and quality standards are maintained, and that the division operates in an efficient and effective manner consistent with its objectives.

 

You will also be responsible for and take the lead to formulate, interpret and implement policies, procedures and guidelines established by the College and to ensure compliance with the relevant regulations.

 

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree from an established university.
  • At least 12 years and above or equivalent of relevant experience at tertiary educational level, of which 5 years and above or equivalent should be in a managerial capacity, with supervisory responsibilities.
  • Significant experience in managing administrative affairs within a tertiary education environment, with a strong focus on quality assurance.
  • Ability to evaluate, formulate and implement policies and procedures of academic administration.
  • Good grasp of business and functional requirements in academic affairs.
  • Sound knowledge of trends and best practices in academic administration.
  • Strong interpersonal and people management skills, with ability to manage and interact at all levels and work effectively at both strategic and operational level.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
  • Excellent administrative, project and time management skills, and ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Meticulous and possess strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work across cultures with different individuals and stakeholders such as students, parents, government, constituencies, etc, where appropriate.
  • An appreciation of and sensitivity to arts and culture, as well as an interest in the development of young people through education, are highly desirable qualities
  • Ability to embrace a student-centric service culture.
