Background and overview of role
In line with Roche Pharma Technical (PT) Operations Global Packaging Strategy, Roche has decided to implement an Asia Pacific Packaging Hub in Singapore leveraging a Contract Manufacturer.
A project team is in place to design and implement future processes/systems needed to run the hub, establish contract and ways of working with the Contract Manufacturer, prepare customer countries to the change and manages transition to operations.
The packaging hub started its operations (central redressing and shipping of some prioritized products to selected countries) in Q3, 2017 and is expected to gradually scale‐up to the full scope of volumes, products, APAC countries performing secondary packaging in the course of 2018/2019.
To manage hub supply chain operations an organization is being established in the context of APAC Pharma Supply Chain organization.   
Purpose of this role is to oversee and execute all artworks activities from initiating of artwork changes from an APAC affiliate to the final late stage customization of products to fulfill order to the affiliate.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate the APAC Packaging Hub end to end change process for artworks, packaging material specifications, work instructions, and packaging Bill of Materials (BOM)
  • Work with APAC countries to assess requests to change artworks, packaging material specifications, work instructions, and packaging Bill of Materials (BOM)
  • Coordinate with APAC countries the review and approval of artworks, packaging material specifications, work instructions, and packaging Bill of Materials (BOM)
  • Work with Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO) to assess the feasibility of artworks, packaging material specifications, work instructions, and packaging Bill of Materials (BOM) changes
  • Regularly monitor Artworks Change Number (ACN) available in CMO Inventory and ACN’s applicable to countries
  • Other additional responsibilities:
    • Assist the APAC Artworks Associate to support the APAC countries for artworks and ALPIN requests and enquiries
    • Support the APAC Artworks Associate in executing deliverables of Artworks improvement initiatives (such as APAC Hub, Alpin 2.0)

Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor degree
  • Entry level candidates welcomed, 1-2 years work experience preferred
  • Working experience in Pharmaceutical industry and/or supply chain function is a plus
  • Project management know how and experience are a plus
  • Passion and skills for Processes, Software & Systems, previous experiences are a plus
  • English fluency, proficiency in other APAC languages is a plus
  • Good relationship skills

Appointment to this position will be on local Singapore salary and benefits package.
